Keke Palmer (who most recently starred in director Jordan Peele’s NOPE) hosts this primetime revival (from executive producer Jimmy Kimmel) of the classic game show that pairs celebrities with contestants from across the country for a series of “guess-the-word” competitions. And tonight’s episode will salute the late great Betty White, a Password celebrity-player mainstay in the 1960s and ‘70s (10 p.m., NBC).

WEDNESDAY, Aug. 10
Indian Matchmaking have art
Season two of the reality series begins, with the premier matchmaker in Mumbai, Sima Tapiara, returning to help more millennials find their perfect partners (Netflix).

I Am Groot
Series of five new animated adventures—all available today—follows the continuing adventures of Baby Groot, the little tree (voiced by Vin Diesel) from the Guardians of the Galaxy movie-verse (Disney+).

THURSDAY, Aug. 11
Bump
Australian comedy-drama series—revolving around a high school girl and her unplanned baby—stars Nathalie Morris, Claudia Karvan and Carlos Sanson Jr. (8 p.m., The CW).

Alone: Frozen
Six hardy competitors push themselves to the limit in this new series spinoff from the Alone franchise, using all their survival skills after they are each dropped off—alone, yes—on the frigid North Atlantic coast of Labrador, Canada, just as winter is settling in (History).

Pam & Tommy DVD

Lily James and Sebastian Stan star in Pam & Tommy (Lionsgate Home Entertainment), the story—originally airing as a Hulu series—of how a leaked sex tape rocked the world of the superstar couple in the Wild West days of the internet. Seth Rogan and Nick Offerman play the handyman and the pornographer who obtained the purloined videotape and illegally distributed it.

AT THE MOVIES
Brad Pitt dodges bullets on Bullet Train, about a group of assassins all competing for the same thing on the world’s fastest rail vehicle as it zips across Japan.

Standup comedian Jo Koy stars in Easter Sunday, a comedy about a family get-together, loosely based on his own experiences. The comedy also features Tiffany Haddish, Tia Carrere, Jimmy O. Yang and Lou Diamond Phillips.

Bodies Bodies Bodies is a horror comedy about a group of rich 20-somethings who plan a party at a creepy old mansion, and what happens when the snipping and backstepping get real. With Amandia Stenberg and Maria Bakalova.

Lena Dunham directs (and also appears) in Sharp Stick, a provocative comedy about a young woman (Kristine Froseth)in Los Angeles who gets an eye-opening education in sexuality and power when she begins a relationship with an older man. With Jon Bernthal and Scott Speedman.
